Rental Terms

By booking, you agree to these terms for yourself and for everyone you bring to the studio.

1. Your booking
Your booking covers the whole studio for the block you chose, plus the inclusions and add-ons listed at the time of booking. Launch inclusions are for a limited time only, and rates may change without prior notice. A confirmed booking keeps the rate it was booked at. A quote or request without a downpayment does not hold a rate or a date.

2. Payment
A 50% downpayment by GCash or bank transfer is due within 24 hours of your booking request. Payment details are in your booking email. Unpaid requests are released. The balance is due before your shoot starts. Downpayments are non-refundable.

3. Changes and cancellations
• 3 or more days' notice: reschedule once, free, to any open date within 60 days.
• Less than 3 days' notice, or a no-show: the downpayment is forfeited, and a new booking needs a new downpayment.

If we have to cancel your booking, you may choose a new date or a full refund of what you paid.

4. Load-in and load-out.
You get a 20-minute grace period before your booking to load in and set up, and 20 minutes after to pack up and load out, at no charge. These windows are for moving gear and people in and out only. No shooting, test shots, or rehearsals take place during them, and air conditioning and studio lights run only during your booked hours. Shooting outside your booked time, or staying past the load-out window, is billed as an extra hour at ₱2,000, if the studio is available.

5. People on set
The studio holds up to 18 people, including crew, talent, and clients. The building registers all visitors, so entry is by schedule only. You are required to submit a guest list for the gate pass. You are responsible for the conduct of everyone in your group.

6. Care of the studio
• Wear socks or shoe covers on the cyc.
• No tape, nails, or adhesives on the walls.
• Food and drinks stay outside the Cyc Room.
• Fog and haze need advance notice.
• Props such as furniture, decor and the like need advance notice for a gate pass.
• Ask first for confetti, glitter, paint, smoke, water, or open flame.
• No smoking or vaping inside the studio.

7. Damage and cleaning.
Normal wear, such as shoe scuffs on the cyc, is included. Beyond that, the following apply:

cyc floor repaint ₱3,000; full cyc repaint ₱6,000; extra seamless paper pull (One pull is up to 3 metres of paper on the floor. Each extra pull, or any length beyond 3 metres, is ₱1,000.); deep cleaning from ₱1,500; smoking or vaping inside the studio ₱2,500 per incident. Damaged or missing equipment and damage to walls or floors are charged at repair or replacement cost. Confetti, glitter, paint, water, smoke, and open flame need approval before your shoot and a ₱3,000 refundable deposit. We inspect the studio with you at load-out, and any charges are billed with photos within 3 days.

8. Equipment
Studio equipment is for use inside the studio only. Check the equipment when you start and tell our staff about any problem right away. Damaged or lost equipment is charged at repair or replacement cost.

9. Your belongings and safety
You are responsible for your own equipment, props, and belongings, and for the safety of your group during the shoot. Magic Liwanag Studios is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal property, or for injury caused by your group's own actions or equipment.

10. Lawful and respectful use
The studio may not be used for anything illegal. We may end a booking without a refund if these terms are seriously broken or if anyone's safety is at risk.

11. Photographer and content
Studio rental does not include a photographer. Magic Liwanag is booked and quoted separately. We will not post photos or videos of your shoot without your permission.

12. Things outside our control
If a power outage, building closure, severe weather, or similar event stops your shoot, we will move your booking to a new date at no charge.
